The colours are rich and it produces extremely sharp images with 1:1 (2:1 in 35mm) ratio and is also good for portraits. The downside is the focus speed in low light and occasional hunting. Mine is the old one, non-SWD model. It’s pretty much distortion free, built like a tank and is incredibly sharp. My favourite lens.
